The Bihar School Examination Board is located in Patna the capital of Indian state of Bihar in India. School Examination Board also called Bihar Vidyalaya Pariksha Samiti locally.This organization was founded for holding and conducting examination for the Secondary School and Senior Secondary Schools in Bihar. Bihar School Examination Board also prescribes syllabus for the examination.
For the student of class 10th and 12th the Bihar School Examination Board conducts an Annual Secondary School Examination. The Bihar School Examination Board is also responsible for the declaration of results. The board also conducts Supplementary School Examination for the students who could not pass in the annual examination.
In addition to that the Bihar school examination board takes all the essential steps that it considers essential for smooth conduct of examination.
In addition to its role in school examinations the Bihar Board also conducts qualifying examination for the primary, middle and high school teachers. It also conducts departmental examinations for Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education among other things.
